See roles and responsibilities
I and my wife have lived in the wider area for many years and have been enjoying living within Swallowfield since 2024. I have a deep appreciation for our community, its amenities, and its natural resources, so I am delighted to be serving as a parish councillor for Swallowfield, with a strong commitment to its future.
I have been in telecoms since 2003, focusing on business optimisation, fraud prevention, and helping companies protect themselves and their customers through risk mitigation. This included spending a number of years volunteering and running and global risk management body, helping educate and inform telecoms risk managers through free collaboration and learning events.
I am passionate about technology, the environment, and local community support, and hope to bring fresh perspective and ideas to the local initiatives, whilst protecting the wealth of heritage we are fortunate to enjoy on our doorsteps.
I am particularly interested in protecting our green spaces, improving local amenities, and supporting community events. As I settle, I am keen to listen to the views of residents and work collaboratively to find practical solutions that benefit our parish.
Located in Berkshire and part of the borough of Wokingham, the parish of Swallowfield consists of the villages and settlements of Swallowfield, Riseley, Farley Hill and Stanford End. Swallowfield Parish Council has nine councillors.
