Booking the Swallowfield Parish Halls

Swallowfield Parish Hall and Riseley Memorial Hall are both regularly booked for the majority of the time during the week. However, as a guide only, the following gives an indication of the times when you may find the hall is free. Bookings MUST be made with the booking clerk (see below) and will not be confirmed until a booking form has been completed.

Swallowfield Parish Hall – capacity 200
The hall is generally free on –
Tuesday afternoons (three out of every four)
Wednesday afternoons

Riseley Memorial Hall – capacity 60
The hall is generally free on –
Wednesday afternoons (all) & evenings (two out of every four)
Thursday afternoons (all) & evenings (two out of every four)
Friday afternoons & evenings

Davies Room – capacity 20
The room is generally free on –
Monday evenings
Wednesday afternoons (all) & evenings (three out of every four)
Thursdays
Friday evenings

NB: To book the Sports Club at Riseley, which is adjacent to the Memorial Hall, with a similar capacity of 60 people, call Mike Goldsmith on 0118 9882490.

Location of Halls

 

Swallowfield Parish Hall and Davies Room

From junction 11 on the M4, take first exit off the first roundabout to Three Mile Cross and Spencers Wood (A3349). After about 2 miles, pass the Mill House Hotel and immediately turn left, signposted Swallowfield ¼ m. The Hall is on the left, just before the mini roundabout and War Memorial.

Riseley Memorial Hall and RSF Tennis Club

From the Wellington Country Park roundabout, the Hall is 50 yards, towards Swallowfield, on the righthand side.
