Swallowfield Parish has been approached by a village in the Poitou-Charentes region of France to see whether we would like to be involved in a 'twinning' arrangement. We have exchanged a few emails with the people over there who sound very friendly and keen to build a relationship with a similar sized place in the UK.

At present we have a very small group of interested people here, which we would like to expand. We may go down the standard 'twinning' route eventually, but at first we just want to try and establish regular contact with our French neighbours.
