The Parish of Swallowfield comprises Swallowfield and Riseley villages, Farley Hill and the hamlet of Stanford End, and is set amongst beautiful Berkshire countryside. We are a vibrant community with many varied societies, groups and events in which to take part.

CORONAVIRUS

OFFICE and STAFF

The office is closed, the Clerk and RFO/Bookings Clerk are working from home and are available in the usual way.

The Caretaker is in the hall and around the Parish each day carrying out maintenance work.  The Parish Warden is working to his usual schedule.

FACILITIES

Swallowfield Parish Hall is closed to all users until further notice.  The Council is preparing plans for a phased re-opening and is working with all our regular users groups, however, an re-opening will be in line with the current government guidance.

Recreation Grounds - recreations grounds at Riseley and Swallowfield are open.  Users are asked to adhere to current social distancing guidelines issued by the government. 

Playgrounds - the playgrounds at Farley Hill, Riseley and Swallowfield are all open, users are asked to read the notices posted at each playground.  Users are asked to adhere to current social distancing guidelines issued by the government.  Click here to see the poster.

Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) - the MUGA/Basketball court is open, users are asked to read the notices posted and following all guidelines.  Users are asked to adhere to current social distancing guidelines issued by the government.  Click here to see the poster.

 

When using these facilities please take your rubbish home - staff are emptying the bins but can't keep up with the increase volume of litter.
